The Stanford Impact Founder – Ecopreneurship (EcoSIF) program is a flagship postgraduate fellowship program that provides catalytic financial support (a $110k fellowship or a $20k award) along with coaching and supportive programming to Stanford graduate students launching eco ventures in their year after graduation.
Since 2009, SIF has supported graduating students working around the world to launch a high-impact for-profit or nonprofit ventures tackling pressing social or environmental needs. Topics have ranged from educational equity to clean water to climate change. The SIF program originated from the GSB’s Center for Social Innovation, which now runs the SIF program focused on social impact (SIF-Social).
